I graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne University – Asheville with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina. I have 15 years of professional experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and families in various treatment settings. I am passionate about promoting wellness for the whole family, as children and parents together navigate challenges and stages of development within the family.

I specialize in counseling for children (ages 2-12) addressing mental health concerns related to anger, anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress, emotional dysregulation, disruptive behaviors, and interpersonal conflicts. I also specialize in counseling for parents and caregivers addressing concerns related to co-parenting, behavior management, and strained family relationships. I utilize a variety of theoretical approaches including Structural Family Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy, and Eye Movement desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)..
