I am a licensed therapist and owner of Whole Family Therapy. I have 20 years of experience working with children and families in the education and wellness field. I am a Master’s level graduate from Lenoir Rhyne University. My focus and passion are supporting children and families with issues that arise around life transitions through Individual therapy and/or Co-Parenting Counseling.
In my practice I specialize in working with teens and preteens and Co-Parenting counseling. I work with teens and preteens who need support with anxiety, depression, grief around divorce, low self-esteem and trauma. Creating a therapeutic environment where your teen feels safe to share, feel seen, and learn new life skills to help create space between emotions and reactions creating an overall happier relationship with their life.
Co-Parenting Counseling can help create a parenting relationship that has a sense of ease about it. I love working with divorced or separated parents working to build a healthy relationship around parenting that supports your child and each person involved. This is often not an easy place to get to without support. I can be that support.
My therapeutic approach is person centered with a combination of evidence-based practice, CBT,motivational interviewing, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and art therapy with an attachment based trauma informed lens.
