I hope to support people on their individual path.

I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor in the state of North Carolina. I received my masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University, and I have a background working with adults and adolescents in dynamic situations.

I hope to support people on their individual path toward connection and restoration- whether that journey be healing from childhood pains, a desire to shift ongoing patterns that have become difficult to manage, moving through experiences of sexual violence, or learning to live with grief and loss. I hope to create a safe therapeutic relationship, where you can be known, seen, and heard; I believe this is the foundation to tap into the healing, wisdom, and courage you already possess.

I view the counseling process through a person centered lens, meaning that I strive for authenticity, empathy, acceptance, and deep care in the counseling relationship with my clients. I also attempt to take each person’s unique background, culture, and experiences into consideration, with the goal of supporting the person toward empowerment and deeper connection with others, away from isolation. I am trained in EMDR, and when fitting, enjoy using a therapeutic sand tray to dig deeper into ongoing questions, difficulties, or past experiences.
